PALMA DE MALLORCA, Spain (Reuters) - Spain's Rafael Nadal-Parera, who on Monday became only the ninth player to win a professional ATP match before turning 16, can now concentrate on his school books after being taught a lesson by Olivier Rochus at the Mallorca Open.
The 15-year-old was beaten 6-2 6-2 by the Belgian in the second round and said: "I must study now. I won't be competing until the school term has finished.
"The other player was older and he clearly played on a different level.
"I struggled to play my own game. I just wish I could have put on a better show. But I can't be too unhappy -- I wasn't even expecting to reach the second round this week," the left-hander added.
Nadal-Parera had beaten Paraguayan Ramon Delgado 6-4 6-4 in the first round of the tournament.
